Hello! My name is Tyler, and I’m a touring musician. I love all art forms, and traveling. I’ve been really drawn to tattooing, graphic designing, writing new music, and Oil painting (baroque era) lately. The world currently has a lot of things on hold, so I’ve been trying to consume as much inspiration as I can.
Chandler Fowler and Brandon Michaels. I connected to Chandler mostly. I just connected with his story, and I loved taking on that role. If there were ever a movie production in the future I’d love to take that on!
FAVORITE DBB CHARACTER
I’d say Chandler, Greg, and Cross-Eyed Knife Warrior. Even before seeing the art work I had an idea of how they were to look and character build.
FAVORITE DBB ART
I’d have to say so far my favorite art from the book are the crazier characters. I think Cross-Eyed Knife Warrior is in my top spot currently.
HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT DEVIL'S BACKBONE: THE INVISIBLE WALLS OF SEVEN MILE?
I was informed about the book, from George Caudill’s son, Bryan. We’ve been friends for a long time, and when I heard about the opportunity to be a part of the audio adaptation, I couldn’t say no!
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A VOICE ACTOR?
I love all forms of art. Music, painting, graphic design, literature. When the book was broken down to me, I was very interested. I’ve done a lot of cool things in my life so far, and I’ve never had the opportunity to do something like this!
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE BOOK?
I love it. It has a lot of different elements to keep you entertained. There’s a lot of comedic relief, there’s some pretty intense and graphic moments whether it be sexual or violent. The plot is very complex. Just when you feel like you have a firm grasp on what’s going on, you’ve only scratched the surface.
HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE STUDIO?
Recording was an absolute blast. George and the rest of the team were extremely professional, but made it a relaxed environment. One of the most accommodating experiences I’ve had!
George is one of the most genuine and good hearted people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. He has a vision, he’s driven, and he’s quite inspirational to seem him get things done!
Brandon is a pro. I’m extremely proud of him and all his accomplishments with recording. He’s just graduated and already accomplished more than most in the field. I’ve been in many studios as a musician, and he definitely stands out when it comes to engineers that I have worked with.
