Hello, my name is Roger Potts, I live in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in a very small town.
I’m lucky to live in the mountains because I am an outdoors kind of guy. Like everyone COVID-19
was and still is a trying time, so I do outdoor things. The one thing I do enjoy about the indoors is
I play Hockey and in my spare time I do a little remodeling work on our house and try to stay
connected with my friends and family.
Jerry Turner is the character I played. I connected to this part because my dad’s name is Jerry. Not quite the Jerry in the audiobook.
As a young man, I played football and it was a big part of
my life. The rivalry reminded me of my own hometown.
FAVORITE DBB CHARACTER
Cross-Eyed Knife Warrior for sure! Anybody who can throw a knife that accurately is on my team, let alone be blind.
FAVORITE DBB ART
Surreal, but I’m open to all art. Once again, Knife Warrior is some cool art. A lot of detail and if you enlarge the art and look in the windows, well, you’ll see!
That son-of-bitch drugged those candy bars. He fucking pranked us. There’s no such thing as a motherfucking snipe.

HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT DEVIL'S BACKBONE: THE INVISIBLE WALLS OF SEVEN MILE?
My friend Bob Cole took a little hiatus from life in Colorado and made his way to Las Vegas, it was something that he had to do and take a break from the Colorado life for a bit. Little did he know, Las Vegas had changed, and you must be prepared. To make a long story short, he ended up homeless with no communications and almost was arrested at one point which drove him to live in a field by a park under a brush-covered tree trying to survive.
One day, a man walking his dogs in a field named George Caudill reached out his heart to Bob and loaned Bob his phone to communicate with me. Six months of emotions poured through the airwaves and that’s how I met George when picking up Bob to bring him home. A few months later after returning to Colorado, George called and my girlfriend Christy answered the phone. He explained he was writing a book and offered an all expense paid trip to be a character in the book. We read the rough draft of the book and loved it. We set a date for recording and found ourselves now being called voice actors.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A VOICE ACTOR?
Never thought I'd be a voice actor, but now I am a real voice actor!
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE BOOK?
Curious at first, I ended up really enjoying its creative plot and energy.
HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE STUDIO?
It was very relaxing and professional. George is a great director and Brandon is a class act at turning the knobs. It was my first time voice acting. He gave great direction with feelings and emotions. Giving a sense of how the lines read.
