Mason Wright

My name's Mason Wright and I am a Las Vegas native. I am a musician of 14 years, guitar being my primary instrument with a little triangle on the side.

CHARACTERS PERFORMED

Bo Bronson (the Doorman). I’ve always wanted to play a redneck and boy was it a good time.

FAVORITE DBB CHARACTER

I’m going with Tippy Toes as my favorite character as I am a dog lover.

FAVORITE DBB ART

The artist drew my character and texted me the rough copy, so my favorite art is The Doorman & The Bouncer.

FAVORITE LINES

Bo Bronson is a witty smart ass, so he has a pocket full of great lines. My favorite would have to be, "I know I didn’t stutter. Stuttering might make me sound stupid. My mouth is not like your friend's goofy-looking eyes - my mouth works as designed"

FAVORITE DBB SONG

My favorite song from the book is Back ho Betty.

HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT DEVIL'S BACKBONE: THE INVISIBLE WALLS OF SEVEN MILE?

Bryan Caudill, George’s son, and I have a business together and have been good friends for years. I initially helped with filming some pieces for the book's promo and George insisted on me taking a stab at one of the characters in the book.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A VOICE ACTOR?

I was at the author's house discussing video work for the production and he and co-director Brandon Leith picked up on my voice and insisted that I perform a character. I hope I've done Bo the justice he deserves because he is a great character. I have a newfound respect for voice actors.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE BOOK?

I have only heard bits and pieces of it so far, but the clips I’ve heard crack me up.

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE STUDIO?

The recording studio was an incredibly fun experience. George is an amazing director and Brandon really knows his stuff when it comes to audio engineering.
