George Caudill

I’m an Author, director, and voice actor. I love writing fiction that brings back memories in someone’s life or comical lines that tickle a readers side. I Love creating zany characters that shock readers to the point they either hate them or they want to become one of them. I am presently finishing writing the second book of the Devil’s Backbone series, titled. When Hell Freezes Over.

CHARACTERS PERFORMED

I played The Evil Devil Cult Leader. I connected to this character because I know that there is an evil force that can drive a people or a person to mistreat, abuse or even kill to present their masters with what they desire. This character took me far away from my comfort zone. I despise evil, but love writing about it. I knew that I would more than likely perform this character. I wrote some slapstick filled with fantasy to leave this evil one standing on one leg teetering on the edge of light, then plummeted him deep into darkness where he belongs. I played other fill characters that I also really enjoyed.

FAVORITE DBB CHARACTER

I absolutely love and respect every character. They speak to my heart, they live in my dreams. They are everywhere I go. They are like a trusted friend, always there to make me laugh. They give me advice through their actions to make others get in touch with their,,,, just be you for once and not worry about what someone else thinks or says. They help you to let it all out. They allow you to float through the open doors that lead you to a place that you had no idea lived inside of you.

FAVORITE DBB ART

Matos Mob. Cross-Eyed Knife Warrior. Jackie Michaels, Back Ho Betty, oh hell, I love them all!

FAVORITE LINES

I enjoyed every line I performed. Never once did I waver in giving one hundred percent to the characters I became. I did my very best to ensure each of them received their do personalities and recognition that they well deserve. A character is the soul of a book and deserves a life beyond what an author can dream up for them. No writer can create an actual soul, so we lend our characters a part of our inner being that lives in our minds to give them life. The line that sticks out much for me, is,,, “I have no need to prove myself.” What a frivolous line coming from an author. I have every need to prove myself. I owe it to my readers.

FAVORITE DBB SONG

Brandon Leith wrote all of the music and songs for this project. He quickly became one of my favorite artist with his incredible creations. He spreads his talents wide with his veritable choice of sound that gets inside my head. Somber gets to my heart, Back Ho Betty makes me smile and Pull the Trigger rocks my socks off. Too many to mention.

HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT DEVIL'S BACKBONE: THE INVISIBLE WALLS OF SEVEN MILE?

I created it in my head. I’ve been blessed with a lot of adventure and opportunities to spread my wings and fly into a new realm of fantasy in my life. I surround myself with interesting and creative people that keep my juice glass running over with creative stories.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A VOICE ACTOR?

I’ve been a musician since I was six. I never much cared for performing cover tunes. I love the freedom of releasing what is going on in my mind. Voice acting allows me to be what I create.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE BOOK?

The book has broadened my thought process. I’ve laughed , I’ve cried. It fills me with every emotion from chapter to chapter. I wrote the book and I still never know what the end of each chapter will bring. I feel the spiritual side of a Gracious God and the evil side of what I know thirsts for my soul in this book. The book is a form of art that if only one will allow themselves to open up, it will help you realize that family, friends and people in general will always be the advantage to becoming what we expects ourselves to be or not to be.

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE STUDIO?

I’ve recorded many times, mostly music. But voice acting is different. When I played baseball, I was on a team and performed as such. But being a voice actor is different. It’s much like being a wrestler. It is only a microphone and myself. When the director says rolling, it’s that exact moment I’ve waited for to give the production everything I have inside of me to shine at that particular time to produce a product that will sell. The studio was created by Brandon Leith to provide every actor the most professional equipment to perform their incredible skills. I love the studio, each experience is a chance to be what I’ve always wanted to be. Famous!!!!!!

Brandon Leith is a natural. You pick up on his sweet heart the second you meet him. He has a smooth, calming delivery that puts you at ease as soon as you enter the studio. He understands what stands behind the microphone has nerves and he is a true professional when it comes to relaxing you and boosting your confidence to get what he knows lives inside of an actor, and that is a great performance to give the listener a magnificent product to sink their teeth into.
