Detective Nolan started his career as a small-town police officer working just outside of Gilroy. He struggled to feed his newborn on a small-town cop's wage, which led him to swindle a bribe from a noisy lawbreaker.

 

That same noisy lawbreaker helps Nolan secure a new position and move up the ranks of Seven Mile's unethical justice system.

 

Detective Nolan’s side of the law becomes the one that benefits him and his trucker buddy, who is connected to a strong and unscrupulous organization located south of the U.S. border.
